Opened September 2007, our Pierz location incorporates the latest in facility design features to care for frail elderly and those with memory loss. There are 22 private micro-suites all on one level with private bathroom, shower and enough space to bring your most prized possessions to make it feel like home. Each micro-suite has large windows that allow the residents to enjoy the breath-taking outdoor beauty. There are wonderful shared spaces: kitchen, dining and community areas. The well-lit walkabout halls eliminate dead-ends, minimizing confusion and frustration for the residents. Although not a locked unit, entry doors are equipped with alarms. An enclosed outdoor patio and garden area feature several benches and flower beds. Dedicated stone pavers line a winding walkway between the gardens.
